How Did I NOT Hear About This??!!

I was reading the Sun-Times this morning and came upon Neil Steinberg's column. Now I read Neil almost daily and enjoy his work but--no offense Neil--I should not be reading an amazing baseball story in his column. I could see possibly reading this in Richard Roeper's column but since it doesn't involve the White Sox or hating the Cubs, it's unlikely. Check this out.

And yes, that really happened, no hoax. For real.
